Canoeing & Snorkeling in the Backwoods

One of our favorite things to do is snorkeling - we went on our honeymoon and have been hooked ever since.  I discovered a beautiful little back woods (I mean Really - you should see the town) state Park in Ponce de Leon, FL and every once and awhile we head down there for a relaxing afternoon grilling and swimming.  It's a natural spring, so the water is Crystal Clear all the way down (and it is 30+ feet deep in spots) Probably one of my all time favorite places!

Last Weekend we took a canoe trip down to the Natural Springs in Marianna, Florida.  What a beautiful place!  Crystal clear water all the way down, and all the beautiful southern scenery you could ask for.  We were lucky and our friend Adam let us borrow his canoe, wet suits and fins so we got in some awesome snorkeling too.  (Keep this up and I will have no choice but to invest in an underwater camera)  Amazing spot - we had so much fun!

Whiskey Girl (&Guy)

We took a trip to Tennessee, and stopped at Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg.  What an awesome place - surprisingly family friendly, very well run, awesomely historic, and ironically it is located in a Dry County - who knew?  We loved it and if you are ever in the area make sure and stop. Below are some highlights :)
